Nightveiled Series Concept

The Nightveiled setting is a world remarkably like our own, but one where the creatures of our nightmares live secretly among us. They look like us. They are our coworkers, bosses, friends. They have rent and mortgages to pay, jobs to keep, relationship issues. They just happen to be something more than human.

The creatures of this setting have their roots in the folklore of the Old World. Words like "werewolf" and "vampire" are human concepts. Lycannus and Strigoi are the true names of such creatures. But there are more. Many, many more.

This series has its humble beginnings in a small southern town, with a young man seeking an urban legend with his friends. What they find in the caverns under the city is a slumbering, ancient evil. Once awakened, it will never again be trapped as it was so long ago. This adventure is just the beginning for a handful of the town's residents, in what will be a life altering chain of events rushing toward a war between immortals.
